A Cybersecurity Hackathon was conducted with participants after a series of lectures and activities of Cyber Security.

Organized by iCan in cooperation with Professor and expert of the field Atdhe Buja Ph.D (c), the Cybersecurity Hackathon was conducted within the series of Lectures and activities of Cyber Security. Taking place dates are 19, 22, 26 November and 3, 10, 17 December 2022, at iCan in Gostivar and FSC in Tetova, North Macedonia. This Cybersecurity Hackathon are to give hobbyists, hackers, and students a chance to become part of the exciting event of building their knowledge base within Cyber Security. With a focus on ethical hacking and data protection, participants will have the opportunity to learn new skills, network with industry professionals, and potentially even win prizes.

A Cybersecurity Hackathon CTF, or Capture the Flag, is a type of event in which participants compete to solve cybersecurity challenges and “capture” flags. CTFs are typically held as part of larger cybersecurity conferences or hackathons and are designed to test the skills of participants in areas such as cryptography, networking, web security. CTFs can be a lot of fun for cybersecurity enthusiasts, as they provide a competitive and engaging way to test and improve one’s skills. They can also be a great way to learn about new technologies and techniques, as well as network with other professionals in the field.

Lectures and demonstrations on topics are beneficial to security researchers and academics who can use those skills in their projects and career development. During demonstrations case studies will help participants to predict and prevent real-world security incidents. Topics of the week VI Cybersecurity Hackathon were the following:
