Ohrid, North Macedonia, May 16-18, 2023

The field of cybersecurity is ever-evolving, with new threats emerging daily, particularly in the realm of the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT). As cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure become more sophisticated and widespread, it is crucial for professionals in the cybersecurity community to come together and share their expertise.

The Balkan Cybersecurity Days 2023, organized by FIRST (Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams) in collaboration with DCAF (Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance), aims to provide a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among experts in the field. In this article, we are thrilled to announce the participation of two distinguished speakers, Atdhe Buja PhD (c) CEI CEH, and Blent Kurtalani C|CSE from the ICT Academy CERT, which has a presentation on the topic of “Incident Handling and Security Technologies for Defending Against Cyber Attacks on Industrial IoT.”

In this presentation, Atdhe Buja and Blent Kurtalani delve into the critical area of defending against cyber attacks on Industrial IoT, focusing on incident handling and security technologies. The Industrial IoT has transformed the way industries operate, introducing efficiency and automation. However, it has also exposed them to increased cyber risks and vulnerabilities. The speakers provide valuable insights and practical guidance on how to navigate this complex landscape and fortify the security of Industrial IoT systems. Presentation file PDF version
